My wife wants to bring files home from work on her memory stick, and continue to work on them on her home computer, then take them back to work to carry on. Her pc at work has Office 2003 on it, but her home pc only has Office 97. I tried recently to install Office 2003 on her home pc, but the disk wouldn't install (funny CD?). I got most of my money back for that, so then bought a copy of Office 2007.
If I install 2007 on my wifes's home pc, will there be a problem running files that had been generated on 2003 on 2007, and then most important of all, will there be problems when the edited files are then returned to 2003? I wouldn't expect problems getting the files onto 2007, but the return path is another matter. How do I avoid these problems?
Thanks in advance

Just use the "save as" options to save in the older format at home.
Alternatively ask her IT support to install the (free) Office 2007 converters in her Office 2003. They should really do that anyway as many businesses will be emailing native 2007 format documents.
