In the software centre, select something and click on the screenshot, there is no way back from it. From the new drivers installer, it doesn't tell you to reboot to complete the install.
I have it installed in a test partition to check it out, currently back in M14.

Fair comment but it might make more sense for users more experienced in Linux to give it a try first and report problems as those with little knowledge of Linux may not know how to recover from an error/errors.
Quote from: ejs There won't be much feedback if everyone waits for someone else to try it first.

Apart from a faster boot up I didn't actually notice any difference yesterday.

I am having keyboard issues on mine, I can login but after a few seconds the k/b stops responding. Switching to a virt term it works fine, so not a k/b physical issue, just can't type anything into any boxes/terminals etc.

I thought for a moment you might have been using a Microsoft keyboard [/coat]

The only real thing stopping me at the moment is that caja-terminal doesn't work in caja 1.61. Its something I use a lot, so would really miss it. (Before everybody tells me that caja-open-terminal is there, that opens a terminal in the current folder, c-t opens a small captive window at the top of the caja window, handy to issue quick commands.

As the years roll-by, every new update of Linux Mint impresses me more. Other desktop operating systems, such as Microsoft's Windows 8 may abandon the tried-and-true windows, icons, menus, and pointer (WIMP) desktop metaphor. Others, such as Ubuntu with Unity try to keep some of the WIMP interface while expanding it for tablets and smartphones, but the Ubuntu-based Mint, with Cinnamon and MATE, has stayed true to the WIMP interface. As far as I'm concerned the latest version, Linux Mint 15, Olivia, is now not merely the best Linux desktop, it's the best desktop operating system of all.
