Microsoft Account

I need to change the contact e-mail address on my wife's Microsoft account.  I've looked at the Microsoft 'Help' pages but it wants to send a code to an e-mail address which no longer exists which is why the contact email needs to be changed.

Any suggestions would be gratefully received!

There is also an option to have a code sent to your phone but if you haven't already registered a phone I don't know if it will require a code sent to an email address in order to do so..

Unsure what I did so sadly can't share it, but I've found a workaround.  Its no big deal but you have to wait a month now before being able to change anything!  On reflection I think I did the same with my Microsoft account a few years ago
