Re: Medion Tablet

so how "chunky" is "chunky"....  Huh
Aldi   Dimensions: approx. 192 x 122 x 10.8mm (W x H x D)
Weight: approx. 310g
compared to......
Tesco Hudl   192.8 x 128.8  x 9.85
Weight: 370g

Seems like Aldi`s is a slimmer (weight wise ) option to me !...    Roll_eyes Roll_eyes Roll_eyes

Re: Medion Tablet

As a regular Aldi shopper I saw this in their email.
Doesn't look bad value and have had several Medion computer items from Aldi over the years without hitting any problems.
Bet they sell out today albeit one has to pay by cash or debit card as Aldi don't accept credit cards.

Re: Medion Tablet

I have never used a tablet. Smiley
These supermarket efforts don't really do it for me.
Too big to put in your pocket, too small to do anything useful.
If I carried a big handbag, they might be practical.
So it would just sit at home.
A decent sized laptop would cover my mobile computing needs (which is zero). Grin Grin

Re: Medion Tablet

The screen bit depth is rather basic, much like a lot of other cheap tablets. It's not even HD unlike the Hudl.
That's RPM to you!!

I had one of their routers years ago with built in 56k backup modem. Hard to find but eventually i got one. Very unreliable piece of kit and Medion didn't give a damn either.

I kinda think this too but on the plus side they'd be great mounted on the wall as a touch screen home automation control system type thing.
I need a new signature... i'm bored of the old one!
