McAfee - Firefox 11 - Windows 7

When we run the full scan from McAfee, which comes with plus.net, it gets so far and then totally jams our laptop up... It isn't at the same point...  Any ideas?  I've asked around and a few people have had the same problem...

BT/Plusnet offer McAfee because McAfee gave them a good on price.  As security software it's really not that great and you would be better-off using something else than worrying about why McAfee goes wrong.
