I am currently learning to pilot Model Helicopters (not as easy as it sounds) and browse the odd forum in search of clues and guidance.
I came across this thought provoking discussion on one of them.

I all started with an inocent piece of personal news but later.......and I quote:
"Windows is a 32-bit shell for a 16-bit extension to an 8-bit operating system designed for a 4-bit microprocessor by a 2-bit company that can't stand one bit of competition."

I think M$'s first efforts were on an 8 bit microprocessor, the 8008, not a 4 bit processor.
I wouldn't argue with the rest of that quote though.
I wonder when the 64 bit extension is due?

Sorry, but it has to be Firefox. Opera is AWFUL when it comes to displaying CSS how it's supposed to (it's a web designers nightmare, probably to the same level as IE!)

Myself, Bob and Chris are on the Firefox side, whereas Mand and Dave both advocate Opera.

Opera is the reason I needed to completely overhaul the jargon plugin for Wordpress, it can't handle...much lol. Give Mand and Dave a smack over the head when you see them next from me please
