MYSecurity Center

I had been using MYSecurity Center AV package and Tune-Up for several years on my previous computer (7 years old Evesham)  which I have just up-graded with a new Acer unit with Windows 7. I have  re-installed the MY packages which were still under a current subscription.  I have now heard that MY Security Center may not be a genuine company and could even be a malware distributor.  I came to install MY software following on from a CA AV programme that was pre-installed in my old computer.
I don't seem to have any problems at the moment, but can anyone advise me if I am at risk with MYSecurity Center and if so how can I get rid of it and what would be the best way to protect my system now?

Re: MYSecurity Center

Smiley Thanks P_P it seems my fears were groundless, but when this current contract with MY is due to expire I will probably switch to Plusnet's AV deal.
