i tried installing the mcafee security software, so far its failed to download but i the 'installer' window is open and i cant close it or stop it 'searching my pc for 'threats', i've tried rebooting, and when i go to 'add or remove' programs [i use windows xp] it doesnt feature on my list of programs, indicating it hasnt been installed, so why cant i get rid of the 'installer'?
