MAC addresses

Hi
Is there a way to determine the MAC address of the wireless device attached to a computer, other than finding it printed somewhere on the outside, or relying on the DCHP list on the router?

Re: MAC addresses

One way is to open a command window and type
ipconfig /all
hit [return] and it should list all your adapters with their physical addresses.
Is this what you need?

Re: MAC addresses

if you have a router and you are connected most of the routers will show who is connected and all so show the MAC address.
The util that comes with most devises also normally tells you

Re: MAC addresses

Thanks for both responses.  The command prompt works.  I was really thinking about attaching another computer to the network, and for some reason the DCHP on my router doesn't seem to pick up new computers all the time.
Thanks for the help guys
