Logitech Mouse

I have a Logitech MX518 gaming mouse.
It has extra buttons on it to program with various functions.
Since my W7 re-install the buttons are doing nothing so I checked on the driver.
The first entry is klmouflt.sys and the provider is Kaspersky Lab ZAO  Shocked
The rest are Microsoft files.
Since when did Kaspersky start protecting mice from internet nasties?

Re: Logitech Mouse

I had a similar problem a couple of weeks ago mine came up with klflt, sys, my USB ports stopped working no Logitech wireless mouse and keyboard, after a bit of checking on Google it turns out it is a known bug which Kaspersky have supposed to have sorted out, after a re-boot it has not occurred again.

I have now.
The mouse was working ok with the basic MS drivers installed but I now needed a bit more configuration.
I was just surprised to see Kaspersky in there...as it still is.

Re: Logitech Mouse

Apparently it's for protection from key-loggers.
