A few years ago I set up Samba on Fedora Core 4 as a Primary Domain Controller. At the time I did a load of research as got this working as expected eventually. I'm now after doing something again. Does anyone one have any experience of doing this? What's the best flavour of linux to use, and is Samba still the best way to go for a small network? I was also thinking of adding ftp access and a readonly web access to users files.
Anyone got any advice?
