Quote Linux Mint, in collaboration with CompuLab, is proud to announce today, July 8th, the immediate availability for purchase of a mini PC called mintBox.
mintBox is powered by a custom version of Linux Mint 12 with MATE 1.2 desktop environment and the XBMC media center. Linux Mint 13 Cinnamon is also supported, with full 3D desktop effects.

Very good but have you seen the price...........
The case is apparently very easy to get in to, allowing for hardware upgrades where the owner sees fit. The Basic model will retail for $476 (£310), with the Pro priced at $549 (£355)
My Bank manager refuses to give me a mortgage to buy one.

Apparently XBMC will run on a Raspberry Pi (Cost £35 + a few extras).
Video output is HDMI (1080p); not sure what 3D desktop effects are?
