Update your update-manager, then edit->install 17.2

Yes just noticed that when I was updating. Pretty quick I was expecting it next week lol

In the end I downloaded 17.2 and burned it to disc. As per the windows thread I can confirm that the migration has been successful all data on fresh install Linux Mint 17.2 ( Mate ) no more windows in this household and everything ticking along nicely.

Ooops Roll_eyes level 3 = command line login etc, level 5 is GUI (X-windows plus mate/cinnamon/kde/gnome......) and both are multiuser.
