Line wrapping in Mac Mail

Is there a way to set the Mac's mail client to wrap lines at the 76 char?

are you having issue where it doesn't wrap in preview properly?

That's I can't tell to be honest without counting them, but on doing that it doesn't do it during composition, and I see that it's not wrapping in the editor and from comments that have been made about my emails!

Well I had already done that as part of the testing, but I now have it 'fixed' by installing Thunderbird so I'm happy now.
