Laptop for projector

Need to get a laptop for using with a projector. Now I'm pretty sure that just about all laptops will do a dual output - so I can have an image on the laptop screen and on the projected screen.
I'm assuming it's better to have a dedicated graphics card rather than an onboard shared memory card, but wondered if anyone had any thoughts on general suitability?

Should be fine - the dedicated graphics would be helpful obviously (that ati in there looks fine)
I Know for a fact that vista settings allow Dual Monitors - Either as a clone (which you'd want im assuming) OR as two seperate entities - good if you have things on your screen which may be slightly personal - or you just dont want them seeing?
The outputs should be ample for supporting a projector (vga) or a large flatscreen TV (hdmi)

No it'd be 2 separate entities that I'd want, though I have the software to control that.
