Laptop advice

Hi Folks,
My daughter bought a reworked Laptop from PC just after Christmas. Acer Aspire V5-571 Intel Core 1.4G CPU, 4G memory.
Just today on start up it states it cannot find operating system and also the laptop has a beeping noise.
Tried to restore default settings with success.
Any ideas.

Take it back and demand a refund. Quote "sale of goods act" and "not fit for purpose". also "not of merchantable quality".
Remember the "SAD FART" and you can`t go wrong...
