BT, Sky, TalkTalk and Virgin Media offer porn filters and a range or other filters as part of there service. Why does Plusnet not offer this kind of service.

It's something we're looking at.

Just looking at ? Very poor answer. I automatically though this would be the norm when I signed for plusnet but as with many other things I've been hugely disappointed.

Unfortunately it's not a product we offer at the moment I'm afraid - I can't really elaborate much further into this since we don't offer this type of product.

How old are the Kids, they could just as easy install Hamachi and Dropbox and share what they like!
Or install some random proxy software, Kids are very smart these days and will get around almost any isp's filters very quickly. OpenDns is a start though. The OpenDns family safe ip's you may wish to insert into your router are 208.67.222.123 and 208.67.220.123, or you could go down the filter route with the full fat OpenDns, but you would need to buy a fixed ip for a fiver Or use DynamicDns to keep track of your ip for the filters to stay in place. Either way... it can't be the Responsibility of the isp's to keep your child/children safe can it ?
Please don't take this the wrong way.
