Keeping webmail login

Hi All
Sorry I know the info is on here some where but I can not find it. 
Ok what I am after is how to keep the "Username" & "Password" Prefilled on the page with Internet Explorer v6, my Security settings in Internet Explorer have been mest up wen I ran a Security program.

Thank you for your help.  All back to normal now with Internet Explorer, I forgot to ask how do I do this with Firefox?

as a non regular FF user, i honestly cant remember, id of thought it come under 'privacy' or 'content' in the preferences, but at this moment in time-  i cant see the answer.
Im sure a regular FF user will pick this up in due course

on any program in Firefox, it prompts you when you enter a user name and password, do you want me to remember this.
When you go to tools on the top menu, then option, security you can see your remembered logins, with the pass word hidden, the next option will display the passwords as well
