John Lewis Broadband

Curiosity made me look at what their fibre offers. There is no mention of upload speed. Is it limited to 2Mb, as is PN?
No one has to agree with my opinion, but in the time I have left a miracle would be nice.

Re: John Lewis Broadband

I would doubt it be anything other than 2Mbps as it is just a repackaged Plusnet product.
I googled the whole JLB site and could find any mention of upload speeds.
Really bad not to at least mention it in the T&C's or the FAQ about speeds.

Re: John Lewis Broadband

But shouldn't it really be on the John Lewis site as they are the company you are dealing with so it is only their T&C's that matter. The other sites could get it wrong and you'd have no come back..

Re: John Lewis Broadband

And latest  reviews seem even worse than PN's own.

@lucerne
Are you really surprised?

It is Plusnet, just under a different name so all the procedures, back end systems etc are Plusnet's. Why would it be better?

Re: John Lewis Broadband

Looked at this briefly as I'm thinking of changing isp - fairly sick of plusnet's service and totally sick of their sad excuse for customer support.
But the JL service turns out to be a plusnet product, except more expensive.  Can't see the point.  In fact can't even see the point for John Lewis - seems a strange business model - resellers usually base their appeal on cheaper prices, not dearer ones.  Or is the average John Lewis customer seen as an easy mark?  As I shop there occasionally myself, I hope not.

Where, in my last post, did I even suggest surprise? Undecided
