Is the speedtester broken?
I tried http://www.mybroadbandspeed.co.uk/
It displayed a screen - but without anything to click on to start up the pictorial flash thing.

Yes - strange.
I tried it for about 10 minutes - several times and it wouldn't perform.
I just tried it again and it works - bit slow but I suppose some people are using the internet.

Just used it, and it came up quicker than this page to send the message, worked just fine (and I am only on a 1mb connection ) 
Maybe all Computer Shopper subscribers have received their copies today (as I did) and read the comprehensive Broadband test report.
Then logged onto http://www.mybroadbandspeed.co.uk to check their speeds, crashing the site.
I notice that their top 3 recommendations are:
1. Virgin Media...Best ISP
2. O2 Premium...Best Buy
3. Nildram Lite...Best Buy
Needless to say, even if I wanted to, none of these are available on my exchange.
I think Angelina Jolie is a very desirable woman...but she's not available in my area either
