You are currently connected to the gateway known as ptn-ag04.
This is located in Telehouse North.

You may be on to something there, as I'm also connected to ptn-ag04 and haven't had the problem.
A traceroute would also show which gateway the OP is using.

This is located in City Lifeline House.

Could be a problem with that gateway then?

Re: Is Plusnet causing this problem?

I suspected a gateway problem which is why I asked this in reply #1 to this topic.

Between attempts that succeed and fail will you have reconnected the router?

The reply was

The router has not been touched,

Re: Is Plusnet causing this problem?

**Plusnet Staff**
I have just replied to your ticket and passed this matter through to our networks team as I am unable to access the site also from our offices. I have noticed however that when i use a online proxy such as http://www.anony-surf.com/ I am able to get to the website with no issues, so it could be an issue with ourselves but we will have to wait and see what networks find out.

Thanks

Re: Is Plusnet causing this problem?

I have had a reply to my 'ticket'. They have followed my link to this thread and noted that I am not alone with this problem, as others posters have also not been able
to acess the site.
It is being looked into.
Thanks folks for your help on this.

Re: Is Plusnet causing this problem?

Welcome to the Forum Chris
You got me going earlier, as you didnt have your PN parts, thought it was an outsider with a queer post. now it makes sense

Re: Is Plusnet causing this problem?

Following this thread with interest as have never heard of such a thing happening.  I can't get it either and my gateway is pcl-ag04. City Lifeline House (almost sure I was on something like Jupiter before).  Anyway, didn't know about the anony-surf either and yes, it works fine using that.
You live and learn!  Huh

Just to let you know that on the 3 attempts today, I have managed to access the RCgroups site. Smiley

Re: Is Plusnet causing this problem?

Hi Flypopa,
I've replied to your ticket, I'd just noticed it was back up and running, as far as I can see nothing was actioned this side, Dean in Tech told us you were having issues as he saw your post.
If it does go down again let us know asap and we can find out what's going on for you! Though I'm glad it's working now Cheesy
