I’ve got the Ethernet up and running, but I want to switch off the WiFi. Is that possible?
Fixed! Go to the fix.

@Alwaysvbn yes, just log into the router and disable wireless.
Assuming you have a PlusNet Hub One router, goto 192.168.1.254 from a browser. Select Settings , enter the router admin password (its on the card on the back of the router) , select Wireless and then click Disable for both the 2.4ghz and 5ghz wireless bands. You've now got ethernet only.
Oops, got that slightly wrong, apparently you can only enable them as above. To disable, you need to go into Advanced settings, then wireless and then select 'No' for enable wireless and Apply for both the 2.4ghz and 5ghz bands
