Ipod knocks out internet

  When I download itunes onto an ipod I often (not always) my wireless connection fails
This time its failed completely and will no longer connect.
When trying to run "Repair" using the windows wireless networking facility I get the message "Can't clear DNS cache"
I tried a different router but the same thing occurs
running XP home SP3

Try looking for wireless connection find your own and try to connect that way. Depending on what wireless card you have it may be a OEM util or a windows util to see all networks. If it cant see it then there is a fault with your pc's wireless or someone is on the same channel and is knocking your signal.
If you got to start then run and type cmd and then in the windows type ipconfig /all you should see if you have an ip address if it doesnt work post the results of ipconfig /all

Is you wireless adapter a USB one? If so they could be conflicting with each other.
