Ipod Touch no longer connects after succesfuly connecting for months?

For 3 months I had happily connected to ipod touch to my Plusnet wireless but a couple of weeks ago it stopped connecting and hasn't connected since.
I haven't changed any settings on my imac, router or Touch and it continues to connect to the network in my workplace which makes me think something's amiss with my home set up. The Touch picks up the Plusnet network but can't connect (I am entering the correct password) I have reset my ipod but that made no difference.
Would be very grateful for any suggestions?

Does anything else successfully connect via wireless?
Sorry for the rather obvious questions but are you trying to use the router admin password when it should be the security key? And is the correct security type selected?

Try doing a full factory reset followed by restoring your last backup. I've seen similar behaviour with my son's iPod but a reset usually sorts it out.
