Ipod Touch and viewing blogs

Someone we know is in Africa and is writing a blog with blogspot.co.uk. I can open it on my desktop, but it cannot be found on my wife's IPod Touch.
All the searches made are about using IPods to write blogs, not view them.
Can someone assist, please?

Not sure that you want or need the complete address! but it's in the style "www.blogname.blogspot.co.uk.
if you need the actual, I can PM you.

Ok, just checked it. I'm not seeing anything specifically wrong with the blog or any access problems on the iPod. Can you be a bit more specific as to the error you are seeing? Are you using the built in Safari app or another browser?

Yes uses Safari; has tried two options to search from list of engines that appear; Google and Apple.
Message received that search does not match any document.

Umm... Why do you need to search for it when you have the address already? Just put the address in on the left box of Safari.
Also odd that it's mentioning about documents.

Today I had to help a client who was trying to load a blog with an account of a tour in Africa and who found that she could not load the blog on her larger-screen devices.  So I was reminded of this post; although I had forgotten the outcome.  The problem for my client seemed to be that the blog was on a secure (https) web site.  This meant that it was not searchable by Google (or similar) and you had to enter the full address (including the https://) in the browser address bar.
