Have upgraded from IE6 to IE7 but get the following error when closing it down:
Anyone have similar problems?

I vaguely recall that this file is something to do with Spyware Doctor.
If you have this application installed, it may be worthwhile uninstalling and reinstalling it as it is probably configured in some sort of "IE6 mode" which isn't compatible with IE7

I don't have spyware doctor on this but spyware blaster yes. I did upgrade a PC with both of these no bother though so thought this would be straightforward

Known file sizes on Windows XP are 611584 bytes (17% of all occurrence), 272384 bytes, 825528 bytes, 786656 bytes, 598272 bytes, 803048 bytes, 599304 bytes, 624864 bytes, 788664 bytes, 598264 bytes, 622280 bytes, 609952 bytes, 593056 bytes, 824840 bytes.
This .dll file is a Browser Helper Object (BHO) that runs automatically every time you start your Internet browser. BHOs are not stopped by personal firewalls, because they are identified by the firewall as your browser itself. BHOs are often used by adware and spyware. The unique ID of this BHO is 5C8B2A36-3DB1-42A4-A3CB-D426709BBFEB. The program is not visible. iesdsg.dll is able to monitor Internet browser. The service has no detailed description. The file is not a Windows core file. The file is a Verisign signed file. iesdsg.dll is certified by a trustworthy company. iesdsg.dll is able to record inputs, monitor applications, manipulate other programs. Therefore the technical security rating is 52% dangerous, however also read the users reviews.
To remove in IE open tools/internet option/programs/manage add ons you can then select it and delete it or disable it then delete the file
