Interesting addon for Microsoft Office - in my case Office 2003

http://office-tabs.com/download.htm
I looked for this because I was getting sick of having to go to Window in the menu bar to view a second spreadsheet and worse still clicking on the top right hand cross and instead of just closing the one I was viewing it closed the lot.
The result for me is the following

Thanks - I've installed it because I'm always completely closing down Excel by mistake when just trying to close one file.

Not sure what the problem is as I don't use Adobe reader but PDF-Xchange Viewer already uses tabs and has a few other features which Adobe doesn't have

Brilliant app in Excel. But couldn't get it to work in Word.
(they're both from the same edition of MS Office)
Experience; is something you gain, just after you needed it most.

When faced with two choices, simply toss a coin. It works not because it settles the question for you. But because in that brief moment while the coin is in the air. You suddenly know what you are hoping for.

Control+Tab switches between open Excel Spreadsheets, when opened in separate windows.
Which is how I open recent / new  spreadsheets in Excel 2008 v 12.3.3

But if you have five spreadsheets open at a time you don't want to go through spreadsheets 2,3 & 4 to get from 1 to 5.  Tabs are much easier.

I don't use tabs.
What I normally do though, is slightly displace each window, so I just click on the relevant window to switch between them.
