Installing avg 8.5

Hi guys,im having lots of trouble installing the new avg 8.5 as its reach's the final part of installation its coming up thats its detected ewido antispyware or ewido anti malware and in order to proceed i have to uninstall it, i had spybot and crap cleaner on my computer that i thought was the problem but after removing them still had no joy and cant find anything to do with ewido on my computer after searching, cheers in advance.

Ewido was part of AVG so have you had an earlier version of AVG installed before.

There is an AVG removal tool, find it on their web site and run it first.

Did have 7.5 on, removed it and checked it with removal tool still won't install

when installed the new version ages ago.
i am sure i had to use the removal tool and clean my registry with ccleaner after running the avg removal tool to get it to install.
but they have brought a more up to date version out since then so could be a new conflict the first avg 8 didnt have.
