Including photograph in a post

Is it just a matter of dragging and dropping a photograph into a post assuming it's being reduced to the correct size, or is there more to it than that ?

Re: Including photograph in a post

There are a couple of ways to insert photographs into a post:

You can click on the Browse icon and Select a photo that way and all photos will appear at the end of your post. There is a limit of, I think, 9 photos but may be more.

Alternatively you can click on the Insert Photos icon above. In the window that opens you can either drag and drop the photos or you can click Choose Files. The benefit of this method is that the photos will appear where ever the cursor is in the text entry box and you have some control on whether the photo is left, right or centre justified. You can also specify a URL if the photo is stored somewhere like One Drive.

Don't bother changing the size!

Click the insert photo icon on the toolbar (the mountain scene). Choose the file and then wait while it uploads.

Click done.

Or right click the image you want and click copy, then in the rich text compose window right click and paste Cool

Re: Including photograph in a post

If the image is already on the internet, you can right click the image in the browser and paste it directly into the post.

However...

You cannot copy/paste an image from your computer or drag it directly into the rich text editor. You will need to use the media manager (the photo icon above) if you need to upload an image from your computer by browsing for the file or dragging it into the media manager.
