Image hosting via a PlusNet domain

Is there a simple way to use some of my webspace which is hosted by PlusNet as an image hosting repository rather than use services such as Photobucket?

I suppose I could use the "Docs" file but would prefer to keep images for, say, eBay in a separate location as they are deleted as soon as their need has gone.

Fix

@Brugmansia - Someone will correct me if I'm wrong but I see no reason as to why you can't do what you want, after all it is 'your' space. If by that you mean to store images on plus.net and reference them by URL from another.

Create a directory called "ebayimages" & use the URL of each image for various purposes...

I admit that i thought that but when I looked on the forum there were all sorts of references to more software etc so I thought it had to be less simple that I belive.

Thanks for responding

Re: Image hosting via a PlusNet domain

Be very careful hosting images on your Plusnet account - you could end up quickly using up the daily transfer limit and your website being archived. Generally it is best to host the images elsewhere.

Yeah you can use it for that - I use it for hosting my avatars.

As Jelv says though you do need to be careful of your bandwidth usage though where images are going to be viewed on a large scale.

I need a new signature... i'm bored of the old one!
