ISO

This question is linked to the earlier one about a AVG rescue disk.
If you download and unpack the program to your desktop can you just copy that folder to a CD or is there some additional step you have to do ?

The AVG Rescue CD comes in two flavors: an ISO image that can be easily burned to an optical disc, or a compressed version that can be installed to a bootable flash drive. Once you've done so, you can simply boot from the drive of choice directly to the AVG menu, where you can scan for viruses, edit files, test your drive, or even edit the registry.
If it to be to a bootable CD you need to use your burning software to burn the ISO - this is not the same as copying the ISO to the CD
This is what the opening picture from InfraRecorder looks like - just select Write Image
