This question is linked to the earlier one about a AVG rescue disk.
If you download and unpack the program to your desktop can you just copy that folder to a CD or is there some additional step you have to do ?

If it to be to a bootable CD you need to use your burning software to burn the ISO - this is not the same as copying the ISO to the CD

Once you've done so, you can simply boot from the drive of choice directly to the AVG menu, where you can scan for viruses, edit files, test your drive, or even edit the registry.
