That's how I came to notice it.
Funny tho, that the CPanel on my websites report that my login IP is a 46.208.*.* number.
Don't get it!

It's possibly blocked by Whois-Search because lots of users present that proxy IP when doing searches.

Yes, looks that way. Don't understand why I'm getting this 'tunnelling' proxy tho.
(The two instances here are from same computer/browser, btw)
Could be CPanel is storing a previous IP and not caught up yet?
The French whois Dvorak linked to works fine for me tho, so I'll be using that!

How often do you log into and out of CPanel? I wondered if that records your IP only when you login.

Usually log in to CPanel every day. Couple of times maybe. Its usually there that I notice if the IP has changed.
It changed recently after a power outage and is still showing that IP, not this newer 81.174. one. See if it changes tomorrow.
Only problem was being blocked on WhoisSearch! ("Permanently" apparently! Seems a bit harsh?)

As for whois. Domain-Tools-whois also ok so no problem
(The error on whois-search seemed to come from RIPE saying " access denied for 2001:41d0:2:bd26:00:0:0:1". Don't know what that means. Is it IPv6-speak or something?)

So, "access denied for 2001:41d0:2:bd26:00:0:0:1" refers to them!
