IE8 v Firefox

Afternoon all
Can i install Firefox and still have IE8 installed aswell, I cannot seem to remove IE8 from my pc, it is not in add & remove programs in the control panel. I guess i am asking if one will crash or corrupt the other

Agreed no problems - I have difficulty now in remembering where the IE Icon is though Grin

I think IE may be optional in new (European) versions of Windows, so it must be possible to remove it.  It's probably in the Windows options rather than the list of applications.  That said, it's not a good idea to be without it as many web-sites still don't work that well in Firefox, and some don't work at all.  Look for the IE Tab extension in Firefox for use in these cases.

That didn't happen - it was a suggestion only.
You don't get the option on a Windows 7 install. This is why they are now selling upgrade packs in Europe.
