I hate TABS

Windows Vista Home Premium.... re- installed on formatted hdd.... now I get a new tab everytime. So when I want to close the page I am on, I would normally click on the X on the top right corner... now I get a message that I am going to close x number of tabs...
how can I get rid of using tabs? and just get a new page up every time?

When clicking on a link on here, it opens a new tab... instead of a new page...likewise on other sites....

In the menu bar you should have a menu which when clicked gives you internet options, (tools I think) the first tab "general" will show you a "TAB" setting near the bottom. There will be one saying "when clicking on a link, open in a new window".

In the Tab Mix Plus Options go to the Links page. Change the option "Open links that open in a new window" from New Tab to New Window.

OK... I think I found it, under Tools > Options... have just got the first item ticked now... so will see how it goes...
Nah... that didn`t work...    still opens a new tab....not a new page....

Ha Ha... ! ! ... got it... in the Tools > Options > Tabs remove all the ticks.    .. and it opens a linky on a new page ! ! ..        . thanks for the pointers guys ! ! ..
