Is the Jacobson TCP congestion control still used?
AFAIK this is a client-side method of congestion control.
Isn't it the case that TCP handles congestion control by reducing the window size when packets start getting lost?
Actually, UDP seems a much more efficient protocol since it has lower header overhead and no acknowledgements are ever sent or requested.
