Hub One USB port hard drive compatibility

Hi,

I have connected a 500Gb hard drive to the USB port on my Hub One. I can see it and read from it in Windows 10 file explorer but I am unable to write to it. Should I be able to write to it? I get Error 0x8007045D: The request could not be performed because of a device I/O error.

Anyone help? Thanks,
