Hi,
I'd like to upgrade my plusnet technicolor router to newer, better hardware.
I've two questions regarding this,
Which router should I buy on a budget (<£20 inc p+p, fine to buy used)
How complicated is setting up a new router not from the provider? I've only ever used routers given to me by plusnet and past internet providers which I think had everything pre programmed?
Very grateful for any answers/suggestions
A.Z.
P.S. I'm contracted to plusnet (ADSL) if that makes any difference

if your budget is less than £20 then it's unlikely you'll get one that is any better than the plusnet supplied router.
if you did get another router than all you need is your plusnet username and password.
