House Move - Engineer visit needed but already have a line?
I'm due to move house in the next week so called up PlusNet to arrange this to get phone line and broadband moved. Was told that an engineer visit would be need as there was no line at the house.
The house we are moving to are on TalkTalk so guess their BT line has been LLU'ed!
Was told that £49 fee would be needed for the engineer visit but surely all that is need is to change the line at the exchange end and the line would be good again! Would I be changed if that was all that was done or do I pay regardless?
It seems difficult to warrent paying this fee when Virgin Media will do free install of BB, TV and phone line! Had bad experiance with NTL in the past & PN have been so good. Any movement on the fee? Would be sad to leave PN!
