Hi-jacked Browser

Couple of browsers (Chrome and IE) have been hi-jacked by "trackid=sp-006" on my guest PC, running windows 7.
Have tried Adwcleaner, malwarebytes, AVG and MSE in sequence, also deleting recently installed programs, but "trackid" persists, (slows PC down, won't let me browse).
Much advice when googled  seems unreliable.
Am open to suggestions

here's the google forum on how to achieve your end game
essentially you need to make changes within the browser and then locate the tracking cookies and remove them whilst offline then delete the sync'd files in the cloud to stop it auto re-infecting, its not just a tracking cookie but also a tracking search extension
just because your paranoid doesn't mean they aren't out to get you
