Here's a wayout query for you!

Having a battle with a supplier, the details of which I won't bore you with.
In the course of this fracas I have sent/received some text messages which could be v helpful to my case.
Unfortunately my Nokia mobile is not a smartphone by any means.
Is there any means, please, of getting them on to this pc (other than taking several awkward pix of the screen) ?

Re: Here's a wayout query for you!

If you change the SIM in the phone can you still read the texts?  If not, they are stored on the SIM and you can get card readers to allow phonebooks and SMS messages to be transferred to a PC.
If the texts are still readable, they're stored in the phone - Can you copy them to the SIM?
An example of suitable hardware:

I'm sure cheaper alternatives will be readily available from eBay etc - This was just the first hit Smiley

Thank you, PW!
Have found that the messages are still accessible if I take out the sim.
Will try to fangle a way of transferring them to sim then look for a gizmo, as you suggest.
