I realise this is a microsoft problem, but I can't find out how to fix it.
I was scrolling up a page when my desktop bottom half scrolled half way up the page, now I have a sort of split screen, have tried switching off, change screen size but it won't correct itself. How do I get rid of the desk top half off my screen?
Not very techy so please make it easy., thanks.

Grab hold of the edge of the task bar and drag it back to where it should be. After you've got it as it should be right click a blank space on the task bar and select Lock the task bar to prevent it happening again.

Presumably that's the taskbar that has expanded?
Hover mouse over the border, it should change to a double-ended (up/down) arrow.
Press and hold left mouse button and drag border back to its rightful place.
