Help please Foreign Samsung Monitor!

I did a daft thing and didn't open an item on Ebay until over my 45 days come back only to find it came with a European plug.

Its a Samsung SyncMaster 943N 19" LCD monitor -
Mac, PC, Silver, 1280 x 1024, 300 cd/m2, 1000:1 / 50000:1 (dynamic), Up to 16.2 million colors
Max Resolution:  1280x1024 Type:  Flat Panel (LCD, TFT)
Maximum Refresh Rate (ms):  5 ms - 9.9 ms Screen Size (inches):  19"
Contrast Ratio:  More Than 700:1 Brightness:  300- 349 nits (cd/m²)
Screen Size:  19

It was definately new but foreign and despite searching all documentation there's no wattage information anywhere on the back, instructions or warrantly.
Is there anyway of finding this out via Samsung or similar?
Many Thanks

I have brought several thing in the UK that have an adaptor plug on them, so it might be a genuine UK sale

Re: Help please Foreign Samsung Monitor!

I've purchased electrical items in France over the years and just cut off the plug and wired up a 13amp UK plug.

Re: Help please Foreign Samsung Monitor!

Earth not required if the device is 'double insulated'.
Quote
A Class II or double insulated electrical appliance is one which has been designed in such a way that it does not require a safety connection to electrical earth (US: ground).
The basic requirement is that no single failure can result in dangerous voltage becoming exposed so that it might cause an electric shock and that this is achieved without relying on an earthed metal casing. This is usually achieved at least in part by having two layers of insulating material surrounding live parts or by using reinforced insulation.
In Europe, a double insulated appliance must be labelled "Class II", "double insulated" or bear the double insulation symbol (a square inside another square).

Re: Help please Foreign Samsung Monitor!

looking at your comprehensive list so do a lot of others,
Italy has two different sizes of in line ones, but you also come across the round type,  Got a nice multi one that can do most of those,
