Can I respectfully suggest that you follow this one, diverting (via tabs) when you need to.
Edit: For what it's worth, with the obvious exception of the Pi's all of my Arch Linux machines are VMs running under vmWare ESXi v5.

# pkgfile libncursesw.so.6 core/ncurses
Looks like you need to install ncurses.

I'm just looking at it now, it works fine on my VM, but not the pi. Just doing a -Syu atm then I'll look again.
Ubuntu server is behaving so far with everything installed as expected, they make that easy don't they

# rm /etc/ssl/certs/ca-certificates.crt # remove conflicting file
# pacman -Su # perform upgrade

Yeah it's the pi.
I've re-installed it again, got all the programs working after the update but I've not restarted it yet!

Just adding this link, I've been having a few problems with the sorting out a static ip but all good now.
Which do you guys find the best, netctl or systemd ? I've had more luck with systemd so far.
