More than half a million Apple computers have been infected with the Flashback Trojan, according to a Russian anti-virus firm. Its report claims that about 600,000 Macs have installed the malware - potentially allowing them to be hijacked and used as a "botnet"

The Apple fix was issued 8 weeks after Oracle issued their own fix for us lesser mortals How about a few links so we can judge for ourselves

This is according to Russian anti-virus firm Dr Web, which arrived at the figure after it successfully managed to sinkhole one of the command-and-control servers used to control Mac machines hit by the latest attack. The legions of compromised zombies were mostly located in the US (56.6 per cent, or 303,449 infected hosts), Canada (19.8 per cent, or 106,379 infected computers) and the UK (12.8 per cent or 68,577 cases of infection).
Thanks for reducing them for us poor users who only have 22" monitors with 1680x1050 resolution

"I know around 100 people personally or through social sites, I run six companies that use Macs, and I have not found a single infected computer. I own a Mac software company, so feel free to post an article saying that this analyst has found no evidence that any Macs in the wild have been infected."
In one of the links, it states that Dr. Web gives a projected number, not an actual number of "infected macs"
