The above laptop seems to have issues with its power management. Runs Win7 home premium, and fully updated. When its been on battery and then switched off, and then restarted again on AC, the screen brightness stays at mid level. I go into the management settings, to change these, and find every time, that both screen brightness on battery and AC is set to Mid level. I change this every time, and still it does it. The HP forums yealded no replys. Have updated the BIOS to the latest revision, still the same.
I am completely lost now, as to why the power management setting keep reverting to a mid screen brightness.
