Hi all,
Myself and the in-laws are both running Google Picasa (3.5.x), but we've noticed something different on the two machines (both Windows XP_SP3).
If I "right-mouse-click" (e.g. bring up the "context menu") on a ".jpg" file when using Windows Explorer, the Windows "Print Wizard" kicks in, and I can print o.k. However, when the in-laws do the same action, the print function from Picasa kicks in.....
I've tried looking at Windows Explorer "Tools"->"Folder Options", "File Types" tab, as I seemed to recall that you could edit which application performed certain actions (e.g. open, edit, print, etc.) in the context menu on a per file type (extension) basis. But when I look at "jpg" extension, where the "Advanced" button normally is, there is now a "Restore" button. And that's on the system that's working "natively" - e.g. Windows print wizzard, that has not been changed to Picasa's print function.....
Anyone have any ideas where I can look on the in-laws system to check/change what happens when you select "print" from the context menu for a ".jpg" file..?
Thanks,

It's because they are Windows questions!
Actually, have you looked at that awful concoction known as "the registry"?
Somewhere (in its many megabytes) of total rubbish will be a print action slightly attached to a jpeg, jpg, .jpg or similiar...
This print command will either specify about 20 hex digits - or picasa.
So search your registry for picasa (there will be many matches)!!!
If it was Linux, it would be trivially easy.
