Talking about new Ubuntu thingies, has anyone tried the new Ubuntu User magazine?
Someone had it at our LUG group last week but didn't get chance to look at it.  Probably too advanced for me!

I looked at it in WHS, but it was more a beginners mag, and the cover price of £8 put me off dramatically.

If it is for beginners, sounds like it is the kind of thing that would suit me although £8 would put me off too.
There's a man in our market that sells back-dated mags - have had some of the Linux books from him before for £1.
In those, a lot of the stuff is too clever for me so will ask him to look out for this one.

The only mag I get these days is Linux Format, and even that is being looked at hard now (money constraints, I used to get 6 Mags a month, 3 bike ones and 2 Linux and 1 pc one, all on subscription to save money)

Ahh but not a paper magazine! 
There is also Free Software Magazine, that is an online only one.
