GPU error, not seen before

Hey Guys,
I assume this is bad, but how bad is it exactly?

Any advice would be good lol, All I've been doing today is playing Battlefield 4... System memory at the time was like 6.96GB out of 8GB
Cheers,
Matt

Re: GPU error, not seen before

Have you tried turning it off and back on again ? Wink
Actually - try doing a complete cold restart - do a shutdown, remove power for 1 minutes and restart. It might have just got its knickers in a twist.

Re: GPU error, not seen before

Interesting,
It's proabably because I reduced the amount of page file I have - Will figure something out, I have 8GB more RAM showing up tomorrow, which will bring me back up to 16GB total. Hopefully, that'll cure it

Re: GPU error, not seen before

That looks to me like a DirectX/Graphics card issue rather than actual computer system RAM.
To me that says that Direct X has asked the graphics card for more memory than the card has got or something is misreporting its capabilities somewhere along the line (or there is a memory leak).
Some people are saying updating or reverting the graphics card drivers solves the issue while others are reinstalling DirectX
Looks more like a software bug than a hardware issue.

Weird, graphics driver hasn't changed for a few weeks 😕
Will see how it goes I guess.
