I was surfing around and I found this site which looks like an interesting prospect.
On their FAQ pages it notes:
So, are Plusnet considering "jiggling about with their network" or is this a non-starter?

On their FAQ pages it notes:
Quote Freewire TV only works on multicast-enabled networks. Basically, that means your internet service provider has to jiggle around with their network so it can carry Freewire programming. If you’ve already checked you’re in a Freewire enabled area, have a word with your internet service provider or network operator.
So, are Plusnet considering "jiggling about with their network" or is this a non-starter?

We were playing with Multicasting for the Beeb last year/year before. I suspect that now we aren't set up for it.
I'll ask internally about this.

I just love the way that say what could be a major network redesign, "jiggling about with their network"
Also you will require a router that supports multicast. I am not sure that many do. (And some that claim they do, don't.)
