This has been out for some time and in my opinion it's hopeless. If you look at MS forums/message boards eg <a href="http://www.microsoft.com/communities/newsgroups/en-us/default.aspx?dg=microsoft.public.uk.moa">Discussions in Office Accounting (UK)</a> you will see endless questions and problems.
I am using Quicken for home and my small business use, but need foreign currencies so was looking for another package. MS Office Accounting Professional was a possibility so I downloaded a free 60 day trail. Impossible interface and useless help. After 60 days this reverts to free version but this does not support departments or foreign currency.
I eventually moved to Quick Books Pro 2006. (later versions do not support foreign currency)
